Counseling and Student Support

In addition to educational programs, the district provides support services intended to help students pursue educational success.

Counseling

The district provides a comprehensive K-12 counseling program. Certified school counselors and psychologists provide assistance to students and parents. Elementary students receive lessons in their homeroom on self-concept and getting along with others from the counselor/school psychologist staff. Secondary students receive services in such areas as orientation to the school, academic choices and progress, understanding test scores, career planning, and college counseling.
