Programs: Junior High Schools

Lake Oswego Junior High School and Waluga Junior High School are two-year schools for seventh and eighth grades. The junior highs offer a middle school program, which couples a challenging academic program with a structure that supports the needs of early adolescents. 

Students receive instruction from interdisciplinary teams and are assigned an adult advocate/advisor in addition to a counselor. Learning specialists and counselors assist classroom teachers in meeting the diverse needs of middle level students.
