2009 SAT scores published this week indicate that the LOSD composite score of 1720 increased by 42 points over last year, while scores at the state and national level decreased slightly. Scores improved in every category for both Lakeridge and Lake Oswego high schools, and this year's composite score is the highest since the new SAT was initiated in 2006.

These results are a tribute to the district’s highly qualified teachers and staff, and to the hard working students who make learning a priority. A great deal of credit is also due to the parents and community members in Lake Oswego whose support is so instrumental to the success of the district’s schools and its students.
