Extended Day Provider
School TBD 3:00-6:00 p.m.
3 hrs./day;190 days/yr. Salary: $12.37/hr. to start (DOE) Start: September 1, 2011

Purpose: To
plan, organize, and supervise activities designed to meet the physical,
emotional and intellectual needs, and to assure the care and safety of
children enrolled in the Extended Day Program. Typical
Duties:
Training
and Experience Required: Two years of training in education, early childhood development, physical education, or recreation. Two years experience teaching in preschool or pre-kindergarten classes preferred. At least one year’s experience in a supervisory capacity with children in a group setting such as classroom, day care, recreation, latch key. Bloodborne Pathogens training and First Aid Card are required and can be obtained after selection. Special
Requirements: The person employed for this position must be able to verify
identity and employment authorization. The candidate selected for this
position must complete a pre-employment record check and be approved by
the State Department of Education after having a Fingerprint-Based
Criminal History Verification made.
The selected candidate will pay $10-$20 for a set of fingerprints
and $62.00 for the verification check. Equal
