May I Say Something Please?

The Lake Oswego School Board encourages your attendance at its meetings and welcomes your participation in the proceedings:

• Time is provided at the beginning and end of each regular session for visitor comments pertaining to issues not on the agenda.

• Comments concerning specific agenda items will be heard as those items are being discussed.

Please follow these procedures when providing comments to the board:

• Fill out a comment card (available at the agenda table) with your name, address, phone number, and, if applicable, the relevant agenda item and number.

• Please hand your card to Shari Huffmaster, board secretary.  Cards may be brought forward at any time during the meeting until the item is discussed.

• When you are called upon to speak, please stand and state your name and address before you begin your comments.

• Please limit your comments to three minutes in length so that all who wish to speak will have the opportunity to do so.

• If you would like to submit written testimony, please prepare ten copies for the board, administrators, and media representatives.
