Document Formats

Adobe Acrobat 

Many of the documents provided on the LOSD website are (portable document format) files.

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to access these files.  If the files don't display on your computer, download Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website.
It's free and it's easy.

Once the application resides on your computer, you can view any document.

Microsoft Word 

Some forms are also provided as Microsoft Word files. You must have Microsoft Word on your computer to access these files.

Internet Explorer users can view this document in your browser by clicking on the link (if MS Office is installed). After completing the form, click on the "File" button on your toolbar, then select "Save As." You will be prompted to save the form as a Word document on your hard drive.

Netscape users can click the link and save the form to your hard drive (or right-click and select "save link as"). Open the .doc file with your Word application.
